Overview

Care Ministry 2021 – CARE ELDERS and DEACONS

Care Elders – The elders are the spiritual leaders of our church family. This group provides prayer and encouragement in times of need. They are willing to visit your home or to be an encouragement through a phone call.

Deacons – This group of men help take care of the financial and physical needs that arise within the church body.

If you are in need or know of someone within the church family who is in need of care, please refer to the list for a contact name and phone number. Find the contact name corresponding with the first letter of the last name.

For example, if you are in need of a Care Elder and your last name begins with a letter from Ho-P, contact a Care Elder- Ken Dietrich, Rollie Fenton, Mike Godinich or Bryan Mohr. your deacon would be Gary Earle.

These members of the body are ready to serve when needed. Feel free to call. Please let the church office know if you know of someone in the church family that is in need of care.

Your Care Elders and Deacons are determined by the first letter of your last name.

Deaconess Ministry

Deaconess Ministry-

This women’s ministry helps in preparing and providing meals for people of the church that are sick, had surgery, had a baby and/or need some assistance. they also assist with other specific needs that may arise. These members of the body are ready to serve when needed. Fell free to call the deaconess of the month with your request. You can also let the church office know if you know of someone in the church that is in need of care. the Deaconess Ministry  often assists, as needed, for fellowship events such as bringing in food, helping to set up or clean up.

CALLING ALL LADIES:

Our church family is growing, so we are reorganizing our efforts to assist our current deaconesses. We are asking that each woman be available to help for one month of the year – whatever month you choose. This would mean that if there is a need for meals or organizing for an event, a deaconess could call you for help. If you could not help, that’s fine, but we’d like to have a group of woman each month ready to be called. Contact the head deaconess to sign up for a month or more.

Deaconess Monthly Schedule
If you are in need or know of someone within the church family who is in need of care, please refer to the monthly schedule to see which deaconess you should contact.
